Vedic Matrix
The entire Veda and the Bhagavad Gita may be seen as a matrix of seed sounds. Suddenly, their prosody assumes a musical and mathematical substructure with this perspective
We have seen how the music of these masterly creations is a play of Varna, svara, bala, matra, sandhi and Sanatana. Each Chhanda brings in elements of upward and downward movements that we later see in music (आरोह and अवरोह), each chhanda plays within its own restrictions or बंदिश, and other elements such as आलाप and तान too are hinted here
Mathematically, I believe, the possibilities created by Vedic have not been fully exhausted but that remains a subject of future research and exploration. The great accomplishments of Pingala may yet be extended with a better understanding of seed sounds and their matrix

Vedic Concept: Bandhu
This is one of the most important aspects of Vedic worldview. The bandhu is a kinsman, friend, brother, someone who is related
In the Vedic paradigm everything is related to the other intimately. And this close connection is inherent and not dependent on any external factor
The term bandhu appears in the Veda in RV 6.57.4, 7.67.9 and 10.10.9. And it becomes clarified in the Vedantic and Buddhist concepts of Pratitya Samutpada
All the devas are related to each other in the unity of Vishvedeva and Ritam, Satyam and in the Vast expanse of the Universe, Brihat. All the fields and disciplines are connected in one vast realization of Ekam Sat

Mahakavi Subramanya Bharati, a gem of TN, was influenced by 3 Bengalis. Sister Nivedita (honorary Bengali) was his diksha guru. Swami Vivekananda was his early inspiration. Sri Aurobindo had the most impact on him - in terms of politics, spirituality, philosophy and poetry. On this day in 1921, Bharati passed away at age 38 in Chennai. He spent 10 yrs in Pondy, 7-8 of which were in close contact with Sri Aurobindo who taught him Vedas & provided spiritual and poetic illumination. Bharathi's wrote his best works during this time. Bharati is the greatest Tamil poet of the past 100yrs. Tamil society is indebted to Sri Aurobindo for shaping Kavi Bharati into a Mahakavi, for blossoming of Va Ra (prose pioneer) and for his disciple Kaviyogi Suddhananada Bharati who wrote the largest Tamil poetry of 50K verses.

Subramania Bharati and Immanuel Sekaran: Two Revolutionary Voices, One Humanist Vision
by S Mohan countercurrents.org/2026/09/bharat…
September 11 brings together two important figures in Tamil Nadu’s history of social emancipation: Subramania Bharati, born on this day, and Immanuel Sekaran, who was martyred on this day in 1957. Though separated by generation and shaped by different forms of struggle, both challenged caste hierarchy and affirmed human equality, dignity and self-respect. Bharati gave radical egalitarianism a powerful poetic voice, while Sekaran confronted caste discrimination as a lived social reality. Drawing also on Thiruvalluvar’s principle of shared human birth, this article traces a continuing ethical and political tradition from equality to fraternity and argues for remembering September 11 as a day of reflection on social justice.

Twenty-five, when the future felt innocent and limitless. Life’s experiences have taught me much, but not cynicism. I still trust the future with the same innocence. Years have passed, dreams have changed, but the quiet hope still burns as brightly as it did then!

Shakespeare called brevity the soul of the wit. Nietzsche wrote in his swan song Ecce Homo that 'It is my ambition to say in ten sentences what others say in a book'.
In marketing and advertising, zany punchlines matter a lot. Masters of the short, succinct, and the pithy have been the most effective and creative comms guys.
The aphoristic tradition – from La Rochefocauld, August Lichtenberg, Schopenheur, Nietzsche, Voltaire, EM Cioran, to Nassim Nicholas Taleb and Aaron Haspel – is distilled wisdom.
It is also the art of brutal takedowns, targeted demolition squad, and non-pareil comms.
