Indian morality is limited to animals...
Once they see a person from the marginalized section , suddenly they enjoy tears, cruelty and guilt..

Strange everyone expects opposition leaders to answer questions and even explain strategy but nobody minds a PM never answering media. Quite strange democracy.

All the tools and tactics developed to destabilise other countries - they have even written handbooks on how to do this (Gene Sharp's work for eg.) - coming back to haunt the Americans. Poetic justice!

Hello all, please read this article of mine quotes below, if you are interested about the journeys of other civilizations. It is my small part in contributing to the pūrvapakṣa of current generation Indians and also an Indic centred view of other ancient peoples. This is the first in a big series of articles as we explore lands from the Pacific to the Altantic, from their dawn of civilization to their fall to one of the three exclusivitic ideologies-.. that have destroyed or nearly destroyed all of them.

While I am a vegetarian, I find the notion that our plates are completely free of tears, cruelty, and guilt to be an oversimplification. Our food system is intertwined with various forms of violence, from the exploitation of labor to the tragedy of farmer suicides.
In our efforts to protect crops, countless insects and other natural life are killed to prevent them from consuming what we grow. Electric fences and other barriers are erected to deter animals from grazing on agricultural land, further disrupting local ecosystems. Additionally, the widespread use of pesticides not only targets pests but also harms bird populations and other wildlife inadvertently.
There is no animal on this planet that is a moralistic vegetarian. It's simply their evolutionary dietary choice. There is evidence that many herbivores eat insects and animals for their special dietary needs.

If you knew the difference between self-defense & willful aggression, you wouldn't make that vague comparison between protecting plants from pests and intentionally killing pests for food & amusement.
Even poachers are shot down, in reserve forests to protect animal. That doesn't justify killing humans on the streets.

Historical knowledge offers a civilization what experience offers an individual: not prophecies, not a guide to conduct in new situations, but cautionary lessons in what *not* to do. the Founding Fathers studied classical history to design an America resilient to Caesar

Plenty of colonization has happened independently of the two imperial religions - it’s just that they are “sticky” so we see their traces. they even reverse-colonize their colonizers. Khan was a Mongol name before it was a Muslim one. Goths were christianized by their slaves
yeah that is definitely an identity that gets back-projected all the time. full-spectrum American hegemony. notice Indians increasingly understand their own history through american categories--eg the "Hindus are the whites of India" analogy that goes unchecked in indian academia

Colonization was and is not about whiteness. It was and is about the two religions - Christianity and Islam - with existential mandates to conquer, convert, and eradicate. “Whiteness” (which is constructed and reconstructed out of convenience) was and is a weapon and a camouflage deployed toward those ends. But not only in the ways we have been indoctrinated to recognize...
I just don’t know how peace is possible on a planet with these exclusive, existential religious mandates, which function by any means necessary (and we are seeing those means unfold), unless those mandates are radically revised towards pluralism.
