Marc Edmund Jones and Sri Aurobindo

 Collated by Tusar Nath Mohapatra

I like this as an interesting thought but am not sure how I would recognize a "radical intuition" in myself as opposed to just wishful thinking. Doubt.

Yes, you are right. I find that Marc Edmund Jones and Sri Aurobindo are the two writers who do most to awaken such intuitions for me-- also Scriptures such as the Gospel of John, plus Mary Baker Eddy and Emma Curtis Hopkins and Charles Fillmore.  But it's not really a long list!

I was doing something very similar to a personal idol of mine without properly incorporating his concepts. Russell’s deconstruction of Christianity was admirable and absolutely inspiring but I’m aiming for reality itself,

I was thinking like him without applying him correctly

Ohh Griffith, he has translated from another commentary of sayana.

Any particular reason to trust European translator over traditional ones, given that Sri aurobindo has wrote against his translations.

This Swamiyar is a hypocrite—never questions missionary or Islamic imposition in TN, but targets harmless Brahma Kumaris who see themselves as part of Sanatan Dharma. Why not speak up on Isha, Art of Living, Vaswani, Aurobindo, Arya Samaj? Fight real threats, not your own.

The Battle for Consciousness Theory: A Response to Ken Wilber’s Hijacking of Sri Aurobindo and Other Indian Thought is a compelling and meticulous account of the digestion and subversion of the work of one of India’s greatest sages ─ Sri Aurobindo.

3 Reasons to Join a Spiritual Community

I spent over a decade walking the spiritual path without interacti ng with the communities around my primary gurus. In hindsight, those years were lonelier and harder than they needed to be.

Since stepping into spiritual community, I’ve felt more support, energy, and alignment. Here are three key reasons to get involved:

3 Reasons Spiritual Men Should Develop Their Masculine Energy

1. Feel fully in your power. I noticed since I started consciously developing masculine energy that I rarely have the thought that I’m a “loser” or “failure”.

2. It’s what the Divine Feminine asks for. It’s no secret that the demand of women for masculine energy is a big reason why men seek out information on masculinity.

3. Spiritual integration. Spiritual integration is about integrating all the energies in play in our system

Go to a 10 day Vipassana retreat. It is all over the world and they do not charge. This will allow you to learn the Budhhist thought and metaphysics while experiencing what Budhha did. Get to the essence of it.

I am not Budhhist. I practiced Vipassana for a year and I am moved by Budhha's word.

I am a Hindu practicing Yoga. Eastern religions have similar framework . So I have no problem following Budhha or Lao-tse.

If you want to learn about Hinduism. Reading Bhagvad Gita would be the best. It is a beautiful book. Sri Aurobindo's Essays on Gita is a masterpiece. It is short work but I have not seen an equal intellectual work

Wonderful. Works of stalwarts like K Elst, M Danino, Talageri also commendable in rejecting the Aryans. Ages back, Sri Aurobindo condemned this theory based on his Vedic studies. So did Swami Vivekananda and Dr Ambedkar. Yet we used this axe to cut our own legs. Amazing.

This essay by Sri Aurobindo is important where he denies this Aryan issue effectively. At another place, he calls it a speculation supported by other speculations!
